Musical Instruments
The history of musical instruments is as old as humanity itself. They have been a part of the human experience since man first banged two sticks together. Today, they come in a nearly endless variety and from nearly every culture on Earth.
Musical instruments are generally put into one of four main categories; Brass, Woodwind, String, and Percussion. Of course, there are always overlaps between these categories. Piano, for instance, can be considered both a string and a percussion instrument.
Electronic musical instruments are becoming more and more popular, and are deserving of their own category. These instruments can include anything from drum machines to synthesizers and computers. They are extremely popular in most mainstream, modern pop music.
